Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to operate cash register and complete transactions accurately
- Ability to follow food safety procedures
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ability to lift and move at least 25 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours and in various temperature conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and be flexible in job duties
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items and answering questions
- Balance cash register and complete customer transactions in compliance with state and local laws
- Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology
- Maintain cleanliness of direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, fuel pumps, and perform trash runs
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Lift and move 25+ pounds
- Work in various temperature conditions
