Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Willingness to work in various temperature conditions
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- No prior experience required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and flexibility
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items and answering product questions
- Balance cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities
- Use various methods and technology to ensure food safety of fresh food and deli products
- Clean and maintain assigned work areas including sales floor, restrooms, showers, fuel pumps, and perform trash runs
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Lift and move items weighing 25 pounds or more
- Work in various temperature environments
