Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift more than 25 pounds
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including assisting customers with finding items and answering product and service questions
- Complete customer transactions at the cash register while balancing cash register and following all state and local laws
- Use appropriate methods and technology to ensure food safety of fresh and deli products
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and perform trash runs
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Ability to move and lift over 25 pounds
- Work effectively in various temperature conditions
