Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 25 plus pounds
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with all state and local laws related to cash handling and sales
- Must be able to work in different temperature environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is beneficial
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility to perform various tasks as needed
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Job Duties
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items answering questions about products and services and addressing customer needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
- Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area the sales floor restrooms showers gas and diesel pumps and completing trash runs
- Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services Fresh Kitchen Facility Maintenance and leadership roles
- Ability to move lift 25 plus pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
