Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Must comply with all state and local laws during transactions

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate cash register and handle cash accurately
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs
- Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperature environments
- Flexibility to cross-train in multiple departments
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including assisting customers with locating items and answering questions
- Balance cash register by completing customer transactions while adhering to all state and local laws
- Offer additional sales opportunities to customers during transactions
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technologies
- Maintain cleanliness of direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps
- Complete trash runs as required
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
