Job Requirements
- minimum age 18 years
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift 25 plus pounds
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow company policies and state and local laws
- willingness to undergo background check
- basic math skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs
- customer service experience beneficial but not required
- willingness to participate in cross training and take on additional duties
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- general customer service including helping customers find items
- answering questions about products and services
- addressing customer needs
- balancing cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities
- ensuring proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using technology
- cleaning work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- cross training in other departments such as restaurant services, fresh kitchen, facility maintenance, and leadership roles
- moving and lifting 25 plus pounds
- working in various temperatures
