Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- capability to lift and move items weighing 25 pounds or more
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to work in different temperature environments
- no prior experience required as training is provided
- legal eligibility to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience a plus but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate a cash register and technology devices
- willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- basic food safety knowledge a plus
Job Duties
- general customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services
- balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- use of various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- responsibility for cleaning direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- cross training in other departments such as restaurant services, fresh kitchen, facility maintenance, and leadership roles
- ability to move and lift 25 plus pounds
- ability to work in various temperatures
