Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior experience required as training is provided
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to move and lift 25+ pounds
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in varying temperatures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to provide friendly and accurate customer service
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- ability to learn food safety practices
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- willingness to cross train and take on additional departmental responsibilities
Job Duties
- provide general customer service including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services
- balance cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology
- clean direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs
- cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- move and lift 25+ pounds
- work in various temperatures
