Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required as training is provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices an advantage
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Responsibility for cleaning direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Ability to move and lift 25 plus pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
