Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to balance cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Ability to work in various temperature conditions
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to comply with food safety and cleanliness standards

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services
- Balance cash register by completing transactions accurately and offering additional sales opportunities while complying with laws
- Use various methods and technology to maintain proper food safety for fresh food and deli products
- Keep direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and fuel pumps clean and complete trash runs
- Cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership
- Lift and move items weighing over 25 pounds
- Adapt to working in various temperature conditions
