Job Requirements

- No prior experience required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Basic food safety knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing work demands
- Willingness to learn and undertake cross training in various departments
Job Duties
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Responsibility for cleaning direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- Additional duties including cross training in other departments such as restaurant services, fresh kitchen, facility maintenance, and leadership roles
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
