Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours and schedules
- Basic proficiency in using cash registers and technology
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in different temperature conditions
- No prior experience required as training is provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks
- Teamwork and flexibility to perform different duties
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items, answering product and service questions, and addressing customer needs
- Complete customer transactions at the cash register while balancing cash
- Offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws
- Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products
- Clean assigned work areas including sales floor, restrooms, showers, fuel pumps, and perform trash runs
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperature conditions
