Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules
- No prior experience required, training provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash register operation
- Willingness to learn and cross train in multiple areas
- Commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- General customer service including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, addressing customer needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while adhering to state and local laws
- Using various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products
- Cleaning assigned work areas, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
- Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds
- Ability to work in various temperature conditions
