Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to move and lift over 25 pounds
- Ability to work in various temperature environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math and cash handling skills

- Previous experience in customer service or retail helpful but not required

- Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items and answering product and service questions
- Balance cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while adhering to all state and local laws
- Use various methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions of fresh and deli products
- Clean direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Move and lift items over 25 pounds
- Work in various temperature conditions
