Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Capability to operate a cash register and manage transactions
- Physical ability to lift more than 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work in varied shifts
- Willingness to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work in different temperature environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Provide general customer service including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services
- Balance cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while complying with state and local laws
- Ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology
- Maintain cleanliness of direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas and diesel pumps and perform trash runs
- Cross train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles
- Lift and move items weighing more than 25 pounds
- Work in various temperature conditions
