Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Basic cash handling skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Capability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required as training is provided
- Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience is preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment
Job Duties
- General customer service duties including helping customers find items answering questions about products and services and addressing customer needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws
- Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products
- Responsibility for cleaning direct working area sales floor restrooms showers gas and diesel pumps and completing trash runs
- Additional duties including cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services Fresh Kitchen Facility Maintenance and leadership roles
- Ability to move lift over 25 pounds
- Ability to work in various temperatures
