Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to continuously move for 6 to 8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Capacity to lift and handle bulky items and merchandise above head height
- Ability to lift items regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Stock and fulfillment roles require frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with cashiering transactions across different platforms including in-store, online and mobile by operating point-of-sale systems, bagging items and handling bulky products
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer environment by sorting and returning merchandise to the salesfloor
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed
- Demonstrate proficiency with store technology and adhere to all operational and asset protection standards
- Promote Nordstrom Rewards program and support store initiatives
- Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders ensuring packing and shipping standards are met
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of sales floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support such as setting up special events, organizing backrooms, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
