Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical capability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
- Ability to frequently use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- Capability to handle and lift bulky, awkwardly shaped items including lifting above head
- Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- For stock and fulfillment roles, frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with cashiering transactions including in-store, online, and mobile platforms
- Operate point-of-sale systems and bag items of various sizes including bulky or heavy items
- Greet and assist customers as fitting room attendant and sort and return clothing to the salesfloor
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders adhering to packing and shipping guidelines
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research shipments per inventory control processes
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store events, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
