Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, manipulating, pushing and pulling
- Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items including lifting above the head
- Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- For stock and fulfillment roles, ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready and is sized and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers while cashiering across in-store, online and mobile platforms including operating POS system and bagging items
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- Keep the salesfloor and stockrooms clean, clutter-free and organized
- Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies and adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill and ship customer orders following quality and packing standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to process and research shipments
- Provide general store support including setting up special events and relocating store fixtures
