Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift including frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Stock and Fulfillment roles require frequently lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Accountability and initiative
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with cashiering transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms including operating point-of-sale systems and bagging items
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and sorting clothing
- Maintain a clean and clutter free customer experience by returning clothing to the salesfloor
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately
- Demonstrate expertise in store technologies
- Adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research shipments
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide support by setting up special events, organizing backrooms, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
