Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Capacity to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items including reaching above head
- Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Stock and fulfillment roles require frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready and is sized and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers when cashiering with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms including operating point-of-sale system and bagging items
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
- Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Receive, unload, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders according to packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research shipments
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general store support such as setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
