Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
  • Ability to use ladders or similar equipment
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Capability to perform regular bending, reaching, and stretching
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Qualifications

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking
  • Basic cash handling skills
  • Ability to learn and follow company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to engage with customers and team members in a positive manner

Job Duties

  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Execute cash handling to standards
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
  • Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Perform other duties as assigned
