Job Requirements
- must be at least sixteen years old
- satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
- able to remain standing for long periods of time
- capable of physical tasks including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- able to lift heavy boxes and use ladders or similar equipment safely
- capable of working in public retail environments that may include climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- able to engage customers and perform cash handling to company standards
- willingness to participate in training for custom framing sales and production
Job Qualifications
- retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- ability to move throughout the store
- capable of regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
- commitment to positive and respectful interpersonal communication
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
Job Duties
- help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- execute cash handling to standards
- engage customers on the benefits of the rewards program and private label credit cards and complete enrollments
- educate customers on the voice of customer survey
- assist with omni channel processes including buy online pickup in store and ship from store
- participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery
- perform store in stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to standard operating procedures and company programs to ensure compliance
- interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- cross trained in custom framing selling and production
- perform other duties as assigned
