Job Requirements
- high school graduate or GED preferred
- food service experience in a high volume setting preferred
- excellent communication and customer service skills required
- knowledge of standards of federal state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation food preparation and handling
- ability to follow coffee recipes
- ability to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality

Job Duties
- perform all cashier duties courteously including totaling sales and providing correct change
- follow all cashier policies and guidelines daily including maintaining and locking the register at all times
- prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customers in hospital convenience stores and retail areas
- work independently or with other baristas to take orders make drinks and provide timely service to customers
- stock condiments clean serving and prep occasionally as needed
- follow established practices and procedures for patient identification and service
- maintain confidentiality of patient information
