Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 65 pounds
- Willingness to work variable shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Must be legally eligible to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco
- Must be able to work in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes found in retail environments
- Must be able to cover multiple store locations within the designated geographic area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or cashier experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information
- Ring up sales and merchandise, offering customers applicable discounts/promotions while following laws and policies regarding restricted sales
- Prepare cashier checkout report accurately and according to policy
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Properly label, rotate and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Be safety/security conscious and report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately
- Follow company policy and procedures
- Where applicable, fuel customers’ cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed
- Reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts and completing daily deposits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
