Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation for this role
- Must be 21 or older for this location
- Can work flexible shifts to support business needs including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds
- Work safely in varying conditions including heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes
- Legal age to work in an establishment with slot machines (NV only)
Job Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly can-do attitude
- Willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience leading by example
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Legal age to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information
- Ring up sales and merchandise, offering applicable discounts and promotions while following laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol
- Prepare cashier checkout report accurately according to policy
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Properly label, rotate and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Be safety and security conscious, adhering to Safety Manual guidelines and reporting accidents or incidents
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Where applicable, fuel customers’ cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal
- Book Floaters only - reconcile daily paperwork and complete daily deposits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
