Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older for this location
- Ability to work flexible shifts including rotating shifts nights holidays and weekends
- Legal age to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles
- Ability to lift frequently up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to adhere to company policy and safety guidelines
- Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions including heat cold allergens noise and fumes
- Must be physically capable of standing walking bending twisting reaching climbing balancing stooping kneeling and crouching
- Must be eligible to work in a location with slot machines if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly can-do attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Must be of legal age to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco
- Experience leading by example and demonstrating integrity
- Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile thanking them for their business and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information helping to build awareness of products and services
- Ring up sales and merchandise offering applicable discounts and promotions while following laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol
- Prepare cashier checkout report accurately and according to policy
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Properly label rotate and stock shelves coolers and displays
- Be safety and security conscious while adhering to the guidelines in the Safety Manual and report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately
- Be knowledgeable of and follow company policy and procedures
- Where applicable fuel customers' cars check engine fluids and wash customer windows as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling prep storage disposal procedures are followed
- Book Floaters only - Reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts and completing daily deposits
- Additional duties as assigned
