Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Must be legally eligible to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco
- Must comply with safety and security guidelines
- Must follow company policies and procedures
- NV only - must be of legal age to work in an establishment with slot machines
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
- Willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience leading by example and doing the right thing
- Strong sense of teamwork
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information
- Ring up sales and merchandise, offering customers applicable discounts/promotions while following all laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol
- Prepare cashier checkout report accurately and according to policy
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Properly label, rotate and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Be safety and security conscious while adhering to guidelines in the Safety Manual
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately
- Be knowledgeable of and follow company policy and procedures
- Fuel customers' cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows as needed (required in Oregon and as needed for handicapped customers)
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed
- For Book Floaters only - reconcile daily paperwork when covering shifts and completing daily deposits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
