Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be able to work shifts at various locations including Tacoma, Sumner, Puyallup, and Bremerton
- Must be of legal age to work in an establishment with slot machines (NV only)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or cashier experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly, can-do attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Legal age 21 or older to sell restricted products such as alcohol and tobacco
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles
- Strong teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to work at multiple locations
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information
- Ring up sales and merchandise, offering customers applicable discounts/promotions while following all laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol
- Prepare cashier checkout report accurately and according to policy
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Properly label, rotate and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Be safety/security conscious while adhering to Safety Manual guidelines and report any accidents or incidents to Store Manager
- Be knowledgeable of and follow company policy and procedures
- Where applicable fuel customers' cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed
- Book Floaters only - reconcile daily paperwork and complete daily deposits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
