Job Requirements
- Willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexible availability to support 24/7 business needs including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working in varied environmental conditions including heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes from gasoline and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a friendly disposition throughout interactions
- Commitment to following company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Demonstrated teamwork and ability to lead by example
- Quick thinking and adaptability to changing work environments
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information
- Accurately ring up sales and merchandise, offering customers applicable qualifying discounts/promotions while following all laws regarding restricted sales
- Reconcile daily paperwork and complete daily deposits when covering for shifts
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store including pumps and islands
- Properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed
- Meet the physical demands of standing, lifting, bending, and pulling items
- Be knowledgeable of and follow company policy and procedure
- Additional duties as assigned
