Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older for this location
- Able to work flexible shifts to support a 24/7 operation
- Legal age to work in an establishment with slot machines (NV only)
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work in conditions including heat, cold, allergen, noise, fumes, and odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- Previous retail or cashier experience
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly can-do attitude
- Experience leading by example and doing the right thing
- Strong sense of teamwork
- Legal age to sell restricted products including alcohol and tobacco
- Flexible availability for rotating shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
- Provide fast and friendly service and accurate product information
- Ring up sales and merchandise, offering customers applicable discounts and promotions while following all laws and policies regarding restricted sales
- Prepare cashier checkout report accurately and according to policy
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Properly label, rotate and stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Be safety and security conscious while adhering to the guidelines in the Safety Manual
- Report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately
- Be knowledgeable of and follow company policy and procedures
- Where applicable fuel customers’ cars, check engine fluids, and wash customer windows as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation and food handling, prep, storage, and disposal procedures are followed
- Reconcile daily paperwork and complete daily deposits when covering shifts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
