Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves using ladders
- Ability to work in varying temperature-controlled environments
- Ability to move and bend regularly throughout the store
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for the position
Job Qualifications
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Basic cash handling skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Supportive of teamwork and company values
- Ability to learn and perform Omni channel retail processes
- Willingness to adhere to safety and shrink prevention protocols
- Flexible to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- Execute cash handling to standards
- Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including merchandise return and general store recovery
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs to ensure compliance
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Other duties as assigned
