Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach
- Capacity to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- For stock and fulfillment roles, ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Accountability and initiative
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours

- Proficiency with point-of-sale and inventory management systems is beneficial

Job Duties
- Work with the team to keep the sales floor runway ready through merchandising and straightening
- Assist customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms including operating a point-of-sale system
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and managing clothing returns
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free sales environment by sorting and returning merchandise
- Keep stockrooms organized and properly ticketed
- Use inventory management systems to process and research shipments
- Receive, unload, and deliver merchandise to departments
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders according to quality and packing standards
- Support store operations by setting up events, organizing markdowns, and relocating fixtures
- Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
- Promote Nordstrom Rewards program
- Demonstrate expertise in store technologies
