Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching
- flexibility to work various shifts based on business needs
- excellent communication skills
- basic proficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties
- work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- assist customers at the cashier across in-store, online, and mobile platforms including operating a point-of-sale system and bagging items
- create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing
- maintain a clean and clutter-free environment by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards
- promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
