Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience working in retail or customer service preferred
- physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
- ability to handle bulky and sometimes heavy items including boxes
- frequently use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Job Duties
- work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready and is sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms including in-store, online and mobile
- create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- create a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
