Job Requirements
- ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- capability to lift and handle items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock and fulfillment roles
- strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is beneficial
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- proficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- reliability and flexibility to work varied schedules
Job Duties
- work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays organized and merchandised throughout the day
- assist customers with transactions via multiple platforms including in-store, online, and mobile
- operate point-of-sale systems with accuracy and friendliness
- support fitting rooms by greeting customers and returning clothing
- maintain clean and clutter-free salesfloor and stockrooms by sorting and returning merchandise
- receive, unload, and distribute freight to departments
- fulfill customer orders with attention to quality and timeliness
- utilize inventory management systems for merchandise processing and research
- promote Nordstrom Rewards program and adhere to operational and asset protection standards
- provide general store support such as event setup and markdowns
