Job Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock support or fulfillment roles
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or customer service experience helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a fast paced high energy environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks necessary to the role

Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through remerchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
- Receive unload freight unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following quality packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store such as setting up special events organizing backroom markdowns and relocating store fixtures
