Job Qualifications

- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset

Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep the stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed
- Work with the team to maintain the sales floor in an organized and appealing condition through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all in-store technology systems
- Defuse customer situations and provide timely and effective resolutions
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders ensuring quality standards are met
- Prepare and ship customer’s orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store such as setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
