Job Requirements
- Physical stamina to move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching
- Ability to frequently use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Capability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items including lifting above head
- Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready and is sized and filled in through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms including operating a point-of-sale system and handling bulky and heavy items
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Create a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- Keep the stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives like our Nordstrom Rewards program
