Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
- Ability to operate point of sale technology
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally for stock support or fulfillment roles
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Team player with a proactive attitude

Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and assisting with clothing return
- Motivate and inspire others to promote initiatives like Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed
- Maintain the sales floor by re-merchandising and straightening merchandise throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions providing a friendly and seamless experience
- Demonstrate expertise in store technologies and point of sale systems
- Defuse customer situations and provide timely resolutions
- Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to departments
- Fulfill and ship customer orders adhering to quality and packing standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise
- Support store organization by setting up special events, managing markdowns, and relocating fixtures
