Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, twist, flex and reach
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock and fulfillment roles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Reliable and accountable
- Must be able to handle bulky and heavy merchandise

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready, size and fill merchandise through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions across in-store, online and mobile platforms including operating a point-of-sale system and bagging items
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer environment by sorting and returning merchandise
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in store technology and adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote Nordstrom Rewards program initiatives
- Receive, unload, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders timely and prepare shipments following quality and packing standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to process and research merchandise shipments
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support such as setting up special events, organizing backrooms, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
