Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail experience preferred
- effective communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
- ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex and reach
- capability to lift weights up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds occasionally
- stock and fulfillment roles require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to use store technology proficiently

Job Duties
- Ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- assist customers with various transactions including cashiering across multiple platforms
- create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers
- maintain a clean and clutter-free store by sorting and returning merchandise
- keep stockrooms organized by checking in and ticketing merchandise
- demonstrate expertise in store technologies
- adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- promote Nordstrom Rewards program
- receive, unload, and unpack freight and deliver merchandise to selling departments
- fulfill customer orders timely and prepare shipments following quality standards
- utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise
- assist in maintaining clean selling floors and stockrooms
- provide general store support such as setting up special events, organizing backrooms, and relocating fixtures
