Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to work some evenings and one weekend day
- Background check required
- Drug screen required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, Point of Service Systems, Internet Software
Job Duties
- Handles all needs and issues customers may have and deals with them accordingly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Accurately process sales, returns, layaways, and special orders thru the Point of Sales system
- Accurate data entry of all Firearm sales according to ATF guidelines and procedures
- Ability to communicate to management regarding issues that need to be addressed
- Responsible for promoting a positive culture within the department/store
- Answers incoming phone calls and routes them accordingly to the necessary departments
- Operates ODNR licensing
