Job Requirements
- no prior hardware experience required due to training
- must be able to stand for most of the shift
- capable of lifting 25 to 30 pounds
- must be outgoing and friendly
- able to work flexible shifts with advanced scheduling
- committed to providing excellent customer service
- must pass background and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- positive and helpful attitude toward customers and coworkers
- ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- willingness to learn and adapt to hardware products and procedures
- basic physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Job Duties
- welcome and assist customers as they shop
- provide expert advice to help customers complete their projects in one trip
- maintain a high-energy and positive work environment
- stand and be active for six to eight hours per shift
- lift items weighing 25 to 30 pounds
- learn and apply hardware knowledge through company training
- contribute to a friendly and community-focused store atmosphere
