Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in retail or customer service preferred
- ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift items up to 35 lbs occasionally
- ability to work extended periods standing or walking
- ability to perform repetitive motions for up to 2 hours
- based on location, ability to submit relevant state mandated clearances to supervise minors
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
- willingness to support team members in various tasks
Job Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
- ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs occasionally
- ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking up to 4 hours
- ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time up to 2 hours continuously
Job Duties
- Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
- process customer sales transactions and returns in accordance with established Front-End procedures
- promote company programs including customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment
- adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while maintaining confidentiality of company information
- create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect
- take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store
- perform other tasks as assigned by management
