Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Previous retail management experience
- Knowledge of construction, farming, outdoor work, and/or work apparel and footwear
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Ability to work full time including varied hours and overtime
- Experience with retail POS and inventory systems
- Knowledge of PC applications
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a soft goods apparel environment
- Experience or knowledge of construction, farming, outdoor work and/or work apparel and footwear
- High school graduate or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Able to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of PC applications
- Experience with retail POS/inventory computer systems
- Maintain positive team morale
- Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
- Must be able to work full time, including early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as well as overtime as needed by management
- May be required to attend outside events, seminars, etc. as needed
Job Duties
- Representing Ariat with an exemplary attitude and strong commitment to established service standards
- Achieving personal sales goals that contribute to the overall store plan
- Displaying leadership on the sales floor
- Properly merchandising, opening and closing the store
- Maintaining positive team morale
- Maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
