Job Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in soft goods apparel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Ability to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of PC applications
- Experience with retail POS/inventory systems
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
- Availability to work full time including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to attend outside events or seminars when required
Job Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a soft goods apparel environment
- Experience or knowledge of construction, farming, outdoor work and/or work apparel and footwear
- High School graduate or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Able to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of PC applications
- Experience with retail POS/inventory computer systems
- Maintain positive team morale
- Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
- Must be able to work full time, including early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as well as overtime as needed by management
- May be required to attend outside events, seminars, etc. as needed
Job Duties
- Represent Ariat with an exemplary attitude and strong commitment to established service standards
- Achieve personal sales goals that contribute to the overall store plan
- Display leadership on the sales floor
- Properly merchandise, open and close the store
- Maintain positive team morale
- Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
