Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills
- ability to stand for extended periods of time
- ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- clean criminal background check
- willingness to work with volunteers
- desire to work with diverse staff and customer base

Job Duties
- greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- maintain accurate records of all transactions
- assist with pricing and stocking merchandise
- keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
- answer customer questions and provide information about habitat for humanity and the restore
- ensure that all areas of the store/warehouse are safe, clean, organized, and safe
- guard against theft
- display merchandise in a way that maximizes sales
- guide and assist volunteers as assigned
