Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in hotel environment with independent restaurants
  • History of leading, motivating, and coaching teams to achieve objectives
  • Experience collaborating with corporate functions and presenting at executive levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to counsel, coach, and resolve conflict
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced preferred
  • Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times
  • Ability to be mobile between and within buildings
  • Ability to observe and respond to emergency situations
  • Team player willing to assist co-workers

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in hotel environment with independent restaurants
  • Proven leadership skills in team motivation and coaching
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in managing complex business problems and large-scale initiatives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of health codes and food operations
  • Ability to multitask and delegate effectively
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Experience working with corporate partners and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with payroll and employee onboarding processes

Job Duties

  • Oversee multiple F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, banquets, catering events, and in-room dining
  • Hire, train, and manage performance of restaurant staff
  • Maintain employee morale and address staff concerns
  • Empower restaurant staff to deliver exceptional guest service and obtain feedback
  • Manage daily restaurant operations and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Communicate with department heads and coordinate cross-functional collaboration
  • Drive hiring processes and enforce policies and standards
  • Delegate and manage tasks and projects related to critical path and action plans
  • Respond proactively to guest concerns
  • Oversee payroll functions and employee onboarding
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to develop innovative menus and promotions
  • Monitor dining room, bar, and host program operations
  • Work with purchasing and other departments for seamless operations
  • Ensure uniform and grooming standards adherence
  • Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
