Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to stand for long periods during shifts
- flexible availability to work part-time or full-time including weekends and holidays
- capable of following directions and working independently
- reliable and punctual
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- teamwork-oriented mindset
- basic math skills for cash handling positions
- leadership experience for assistant management roles
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food items according to cafe rio recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
- operate dishwashing equipment and ensure cleanliness of utensils and cookware
- provide friendly and efficient customer service at the cashier station
- assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- support team members and management in day-to-day restaurant operations
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
